Reading at Home

Reading is a crucial skill, and we ask that you spend time reading with your child at home whenever possible. It makes such a huge difference to their life!

We teach children to read using the Read Write Inc phonics scheme. Below is a parents/carers guide:

 When children read at home at least 3 times a week (and get their reading record signed), they are entered into our weekly Reading Raffle. 5 winners are announced in Celebration Assembly each Friday, and the lucky winners can select a prize!
