Collective Worship

At St Joseph’s, we worship together daily as a whole school. Our worship takes many forms, and we value creativity, individuality and reflection. Typically, each week we will engage in a Virtues-based worship; child-led worship; singing liturgy; guided meditation; role play or liturgical dance.

We encourage our children to actively engage in worship. For us, worship is about giving each child the opportunity to become closer to God, in their own way and in their own time.

Charity and Out-reach

We are an outward-facing school and are passionate about developing a social conscience within our children. As such, each class has chosen a charity and raises money for this throughout the year.

As a whole school, we are involved with various community projects and support our local foodbank and care home.
