In St Therese's Class we do...
PE on: Monday & Wednesday
Homework

Spelling -
Please practise 5 nights a week for at least 5 minutes.
Children can practise using Spelling Shed or in their home learning journal if they prefer using paper-based activities.
Log-in using your username and password at  https://www.spellingshed.com/en-gb/ Here you will find the weekly spelling list for your year groups, which follow the National Curriculum expectations.
Every Wednesday we will do a spelling test.
Mathletics
Mathletics is set on a Wednesday to be completed by the following Wednesday.
If you have missed previous weeks, please do your best to catch up as the units can still be accessed and will be very useful revision of previous learning.

TT Rockstars
Please practise on TTRockstars 5 nights a week for at least 5 minutes.
This homework is so important as times table knowledge underpins so many other areas of maths.
Last half term, 75% of year 5 were accessing TTR* but the average time spent each day was less than a minute and the most days played was 10. For year 6, 54% were accessing TTR* with the average time spent each day being less than a minute and the most days played was 6.
We would really like to see 100% of children accessing TTR* this half term.
Reading - Reading every night for at least 20 minutes. Please record this in the front of their reading journal. This could be reading independently or this could be sharing a book with an adult- you could read a paragraph, a page or even a chapter each.
