We are very pleased that you are taking time to find out about our school. We hope this website will be helpful in providing information about St Joseph’s as we are very proud of all our school has to offer.
St. Joseph’s is a loving, caring community, with well-behaved, eager and talented children. Our staff are committed, enthusiastic and have high expectations for all our children. We have a positive ethos of learning and achievement, based on our belief that each child is special and unique.
We have strong links with St Joseph’s Church and St Joseph’s Pre-School which is a private pre-school in the same building as our school. The school is set in an attractive extensive site, with bright classrooms, a lovely playground and a large playing field. Before school care is provided by St Joseph’s Pre-School and we offer a wide range of after school clubs.
The children’s health and well-being is very important and we offer a range of sporting opportunities with professional coaches. We have strong links with Tadcaster swimming pool, where children have weekly lessons all year round from Reception to Year 6.
Our website can only provide a limited “feel” for the school; a visit in person would give you a chance to see everything that is wonderful about our school. Please do not hesitate to arrange a visit. You will be warmly welcomed.
